Chapter SixThe next day, Amethyst was up early to get ready for school. She walked out into the hallway and noticed that everyone was still asleep. She felt a bit terrible about Aurora not having a party, and wondered if she should do something for her. The cook preparing breakfast in the kitchen, which gave her an idea. Amethyst asked if he would help her create a special meal for Aurora. He agreed and found a particular recipe for a dish she would love. It was a sweet pancake with pieces of fruit around it and cream inside. It took her some time, but Amethyst was happy with what she had done. The chef set up the burner and cooked the meal. The smell was terrific, and she prepared a tray. After the dish finished cooking, Amethyst placed it on the plater then headed out to the dining room.
