I've always been buried in product development and never really paid attention to the company's finances. All I knew was that Landon's nasty smear campaign online nearly drove us out of business.
We came out on top in the Christmas PR battle, but if Landon keeps coming after us, the company will face another existential crisis.
Right now, the best defense is a good offense.
Xavier's suggestion popped into my head.
"I'll stay in touch with Vincent, but he's a tough nut to crack. I'm not sure if I can handle him. Scarlett, I'll need your help with the August Flower deal."
Scarlett looked shocked that I'd even think about splitting this order with her. After all, company rules say whoever closes the deal gets a 3% cut of the net profits.
