Chapter 6 - Second Meeting

Upon arriving at the office, Mark throws the envelope on his desk and glares at it 'Tsk, I don't even want to look at her'
After sometime his assistant comes in and gives good news that their stock value has increased and that too 100% then before. Mark has already guessed this will happen but 100%? 'This old man sure know how to use his connections'
After his assistant left, Mark was still staring no glaring at the envelope on his desk. If his eyes were magnifying glass the envelope would have already been burnt under his gaze. He sighs and picks it up tp open it but gets interrupted by Jim who came in to hand over the documents which require his approval and then the day went hectic due to the increase in their stocks as well as the inflow of new projects 'This old man? Is he helping me now?'
It was already midnight when Mark left work, before leaving he picks up the envelope and took it back with him 'hmm. I'll look at this after I reach home' thinking this he gets on his car and droves off

Clara got off work a little late due to the last minute adjustments in her designs 'I'm hungry!' she thought to herself while getting inside her car 'How I wish Dan was here but he got an important video conference to attend with foreigners' she signs and droves off
After confirming that she has left the office premises, she stops the car and takes off her disguise i.e, her wig and glasses "It's itchy.." she says while scratching her scalp "I think it's time to change this now" she mumbles while glares at her wig and throws it into a paper bag which she found inside the car.
"First, I should go and attack for food!" Clara says and drives off in the search of food
Since it's in the middle of the night most of the shops are closed, Clara doesn't have a choice but to go to her and Dan's usual eat out place 'Mr. Xi's restaurant, but she's not in her disguise now and Mr. Xi will not be able to recognize her. So what? I'm just going to eat some food! I'll order my shrimp dumplings and leave after eating them' thinking of her shrimp dumplings made her mouth water and she fastens the speed of the car
Upon arriving at the restaurant, Clara went in quickly! After getting seated on one of the empty chairs she orders two plates of her shrimp dumplings and quietly waits for her order to arrive.
Few minutes has been passed but still her order has not yet arrived 'Arghhh... How long do I have to wait?'

Mark who was on his way home stops the car aside when he feels his stomach is grumbling asking for food '...It was a hectic day which made me even forget to eat lunch and now it's past eleven, which shop will be open?' he sighs and shakes his head.
Since he's a picky eater he'll not eat any roadside or greasy food and he remembered there is a Chinese restaurant which is in this neighborhood where the food is quite good 'let's go and eat their for tonight' he thought to himself before leaving
Mark parks the car near the restaurant and goes inside. While entering he notices the place is quite empty only one or two customers are seated. He quickly goes in and occupies the empty seat and orders the food, while waiting for the food he quietly observes the surroundings '..I haven't noticed this before but this place is good' his eyes come to stop at a certain brunette '...Why does she look so familiar?' he observes her closely
The said woman is Clara who is still waiting for her food, narrows her eyes and purses her lips 'Arghhhh...! I can't take it anymore! I'm hungry! Come fast my shrimp dumplings!'
Mark looks at her closely and tries to remember where he has seen her before 'Wait, isn't she the same women who picked up my wallet last time?' he looks at her again to confirm 'Yes, she is. Last time I couldn't able to thank her well, it'll be good if I take this opportunity to thank her' but after thinking for a while and checking the time he shook his head 'now is not the correct time, I'll thank her properly when I meet her next time' he looks at her again
Clara's shrimp dumplings have been served "Finally!" she says while picking up chopsticks and starts to eat happily
Mark who is looking at her gets amused by her actions and the corner of his mouth lifts up 'Such a kid' his food also gets served in a few minutes.
After eating the food, he pays for the bill and gets up to leave. Before leaving he takes a glance at the brunette who is still eating her second plate of dumplings; he was about to open the door but the door shots open by a man who has silver hair with a pair of purple eyes and he walks faster to the brunette who is having her food happily
"Clara! Do you know what time it is?!" The said brunette just looked up from her food to face him and narrowed her eyes
"Seriously. Dan, did you come all the way here to ask me the time?" Clara replies sarcastically
Upon hearing this, Mark stifles a laugh who is observing them 'This women sure knows humor'
