Chapter 13 - Getting Treated!

Upon arriving at the hospital, Mark helps Clara to get down the car, after getting down Clara supports herself by holding onto his arm and notices a familiar face ahead who is a doctor at the hospital.
"ANNA!" She calls out for her but no response came from the called person, she calls her again but still no response.
Clara sighs "Mrs. Branden!!" but still no response, her eyes twitch "I heard women's tend to forget about others after their marriage but this is the first time I'm experiencing it" she mumbles
Mark looks at her "Do you know her? I'll ask someone to call her here"
"You don't have to do that, I have a way to let her notice me but please be my witness, Okay?" she says smiling sheepishly which made him confused 'Witness? For what?'
"SISTER PERMMMY!!!" Clara shouts and covers her mouth suppressing a laughter
Anna freezes on spot and turns around to see Clara waving at her with a smile stating 'Yes, Yes. It's me! I'm the one who called you and I'm over here!' she walks towards her angrily.
"Clara! How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?!" Anna says frustrated
"Hey! Don't blame me. I tried calling you thrice but you didn't respond and I don't have a choice but to call you that" Clara says pouting
"I don't believe you" Anna glares at her
"You have to believe me this time! I have a witness over here, see?" she points at Mark and looks at him "Mr. Mark, you have heard me calling her, right?"
"Is what she's saying true, Mister?" Anna adds in
Squeezed in between, Mark sighs and nods telling the truth "Yes. She did called you thrice" so this is what she meant by witness..?
"SEE? See? I wasn't lying and how can you blame an injured person? You didn't even asked me why I'm here which clearly implies you've changed after your marriage" Clara fake sobs "It's been three years since we have met and this is how my best friend treats me.."
Anna sighs and says "Cut with your acting and tell me where you're injured"
Clara notices she's been busted; points at her ankle "I think I have a sprained my ankle due to the fall before"
Anna looks at her suspiciously and raises an eyebrow "Are you sure it's due to falling? I heard your arch enemy is here, did you go hard on him and injured yourself in the process?"
Clara scoofs "How I wish that was true but no it's really caused due to falling and whose fault do you think he became my arch enemy?" She meet Will at Anna's marriage
"Let's not talk about the past and go inside to get yourself tested first to see whether it's just a sprain or a bone injury" Anna says and notices Clara is holding onto Mark's arm and is standing close to each other, when did this girl get close to others? That too a man?
'Did this girl got a boyfriend while I was away and didn't even dare to tell me about it?'
"Before going in, May I know who this is?" Anna says pointing at Mark "Don't tell m-" before she could finish her sentence Clara understood what she was about to say and cuts her off
"Oh, this gentleman helped me by offering a ride here" Clara smiles and gives her a look stating don't say anything
"Thank you for helping my idiotic friend over there and I'm really sorry for the trouble you have to go through because of her, Mister" Anna apologies
"Hey! I'm not an i***t!" Clara adds in
"Don't mention it and it was the least I could do" Mark replied politely
"Mr. Mark, thank you once again for your help. Anna will take care of me from here and I'm sorry again for taking your time" Clara let's go of his arm and bows slightly
"Yes, I'll take her from here" Anna says while supporting her
'I guess I couldn't follow her in, they're indirectly asking me to leave' Mark nods "Alright then I'll take my leave" he says his goodbye and leaves

Anna is a doctor in F Hospital and she's three years older than Clara. She's the daughter of Andrew's friend; they've known each other since elementary and Clara treats her like her own sister.
Anna helps Clara to get inside the hospital, after getting an X ray of her ankle they both went to her cabin where she lets her sit on the examination bed present and examines the X ray given.
"Hmm.. it seems like it's just a sprain" Anna says and takes a spray from the tray nearby; sits next to Clara and examines her ankle
"It's red but not badly swollen" she says while spraying on the sprained ankle
Clara winces "Ouch.. be careful"
"You should have been careful" Anna says while picking up the bandage from the tray again and wraps it around her ankle tightly
"Hiss... It hurts" Clara hisses in pain
"Of course it'll" Anna says while standing up and goes to wash her hands
"You should rest for at least two days and make sure to not to let it be in contact with water" Anna continues while drying her hands with a tissue
"Yes, Doctor!" Clara replies

Mark who was on his way to the office remembers what happened before and smiles 'This women, by what I have seen she'll only act like a child in front of the people she knows and her personality will completely change if she's with others which makes her interesting' his eyes widen upon what he thought and shakes his head
'How can she be interesting? Mark get yourself together! It's just an act, you have to do this for Brown Industries! You have to make your grandpa's dream come true! Don't forget she's a Miller and it might be an act to fool others! Don't get deceived!' he runs a hand through his messy black hair in frustration and sighs while looking at his hands remembering the sensation he had before while touching her 'she's soft....' he sighs again and shook his head to erase all those thoughts
"Jim, get me all the details of Ms. Clara Miller"
"Ms. Miller.. may I know why?" Jim questions
"Just do as I say" Mark replies with a stern voice and looks out of the window, let's see what she actually is.
"Okay, Sir. I'll ask someone to look into it" Jim replies
