Chapter 10 - A Blonde?

Mark reaches office before the scheduled time since he couldn't able to get proper sleep that made him wake up early, from yesterday all his thoughts were on Clara and Dan.
'What is their relationship?'
'Is he her boyfriend or just a friend?'
At first he was surprised to see her act the way she acted, as he already have an idea of how a rich heiress acts. He thought she'll be a spoiled princess who'll boss around and with the power Miller family holds in this country she can get whatever she wants within a fraction of second or she can even make a person disappear but still she didn't act that way yesterday, she even ate at an unknown restaurant without any remorse and helped him by picking up his wallet which was absolutely not necessary.
Mark and Jim were currently on their way to a business meeting with one of their clients whose office is located near the Miller Corp. He was going through the documents related to the said project while his chauffeur drives the car. After going through the documents, he gives them to Jim and looks outside to see Clara who was passing by. He blinks his eyes and looks again 'I'm I hallucinating? Is that Clara, that too in a business attire?' he was a little surprised to see her in business attire since he has seen her twice and in both of the times she wore only casual clothes.
Clara who has just finished her coffee, crushes the cup and tossed it into the trash can nearby. After doing so she takes out an hair band from her purse to tie her hair up into ponytail and sighs 'haaaa~ I'm feeling refreshed now, so let's go get changed first!'
Mark shook his head to shake off these thoughts, so that he can concentrate more on the upcoming meeting.

Clara directly went to M shopping mall which is nearby and she changed her outfit to a plain white T shirt with a pair of ankle length black jeans along with a scarf wrapped around her neck, she also purchased a couple of other things and handed the purchased things over at the billing counter asking them to do the home delivery. Since she was a regular customer and the building is mostly owned by Miller Corp, they recognized her and quickly took it by assuring her it'll be delivered by today evening.
After a couple of hours of shopping she got hungry and had her lunch at the cafeteria downstairs, after finishing her food she orders an orange juice and walked outside carrying it.
After coming out off the shopping mall, Clara sits on a nearby bench and drinks her juice, after finishing it off she throws the cup onto the trash can nearby and was about to stand up to leave but she gets frozen on spot and her eyes gets widen by looking at the person who was walking in the opposite direction with a closer look one can notice the said man has blond hair with a pair of blue eyes.
'What is he doing over here? He hasn't seen me, right?' She quickly covers herself with her scarf and walks faster while doing so she gets a near miss by the motorcycle as the driver went through the red light and he quickly drove off without stopping after she fell down. Clara who falls on ground due to the near miss tries to get up but winces in pain "tsk.." 'Seems like I sprained my ankle' she sighs
"Are you alright, Miss?" A male voice can be heard and Clara looks up to see who it is but got mesmerized by the color of the owners eyes which were red and continue to stare at him
"Can you get up?" Mark says while extending his hand for help, Clara who is still in daze shook her head to clear the thoughts and takes the man's hand to stood up
Mark helps her to sit on a nearby bench and bends down on one knee to examine her ankle "It seems that you have sprained your ankle, I will help you by taking you to the hospital to get it treated"
Clara shook her head "No, Sir. You've already helped me enough, I'll be fine and ask someone to pick me up"
Mark sighs and was about to persuade her to accept his help but gets interrupted by someone calling her name
"Clara?" the said blonde was standing behind Mark and looking at her "Is that really you?"
Clara gets stiffened and glares at the man standing 'Arghhh... Today is really a bad day for me!'

Mark's meeting with his client went off well and they've signed the contract, after the meeting Mark and Jim went to a nearby restaurant to have lunch. After having lunch Mark decides to wait outside for his car to arrive but notices that an accident has occurred and goes there to help.
Upon arriving he notices a women sitting on the floor, trying to get up
"Are you alright, Miss?" He calls out for her and when the said woman looks up, he is surprised to see who it is 'Clara..?' sensing no answer from Clara he asks again "Can you get up?" he says while extending his hand, she shook her head and takes his help to stand up; he helps her to sit on a nearby bench and examines her ankle
Upon noticing she has sprained her ankle he offers help in taking her to the hospital but she politely refuses 'I still can't believe she's a Miller and the daughter of that man' when he was about to persuade her again but he gets interrupted by unknown voice calling out her name and he notices her body gets stiffened upon looking at the person who has called her and she glares at him. He looks at the said person and realizes he hasn't seen this guy before in Country F.
'A blonde? Who is he?'
