12 year old Aliyah was walking along with her elder brother yugyeom, it was their first time in Busan after moving from California, they were in the airport walking towards their assigned car alongside their parents , the vibe here was different they thought
"I can't believe I won't be able to talk to my friends anymore" yugyeom scoffed
"I'm sure you're gonna make new friends here yugyeom, and you too Aliyah, I promise you're gonna love it here in Korea" Mr Kim tried to reason with them
"I have no objections father, I know you mean best for both of us" Aliyah being the pleasing daughter she has always been assured her father that she was cool with the arrangement while yugyeom just scoffed and rolled his eyes
"That's my girl" Mr Kim said after hearing his daughter's response
"Don't worry yugyeom I promise you'll love it here " Mrs Kim tried to assure her son
Time skips
They arrived at their new house, and Aliyah was loving it, it wasn't too modern, it was giving old money vibes, she sat down on the couch with her father while their mum entered the kitchen, and yugyeom quickly ran upstairs to find a room for himself
"Ain't you also gonna go pick a room?" Mrs Kim said while giving her husband a glass of water
"Yh I should do that" with that she quickly ran to pick a room
She picked a room, it wasn't too big nor small, it was perfect, with the window view she could see the garden outside, it was indeed perfect to her taste, while she was busy admiring her room her mum entered
"Nice pick" her mum said while looking around
"Thanks mum", she said while placing her things and unboxing her luggage
"So aliyah, when you're done unboxing, would please freshen up and dress nice cause we're going to be having dinner with the jeons, your dad's best friend family" she stated
"Yes sure mum no problem" she assured her mum
"Alright, I'm going to go check on your brother" she said and walked out while Aliyah continued to arrange her room
Time skip
Unboxing time was over and she had already taken a shower and got dressed, she wore a blue gown, which only reached the end of her knee and also a black pair of shoes and last but not the least she paired it with a blue bow and exited the room
She went downstairs and saw a man and a woman having conversations with her parents "that must be the jeons" she mumbled while her brother was on his phone, she also spotted a boy, she couldn't see his face clearly till she reached the table, and she also spotted a girl
"Ah Aliyah, what took you so long?" Her father asked while ushering her to sit
"Nothing much dad, it just took me forever to unpack" she explained
"While won't it take you forever when you decide to pack the whole of California with you" her brother resorted
"Omg can you please shut up, I wasn't even talking to you" she snapped back
"Kids can you please behave" their mum snapped at them
"Sorry " they both mumbled while their dad stood up and pointed at yugyeom
"Anyways, my dear old friend this is my son yugyeom and that is my daughter Aliyah" their dad said while pointing at them
Mr jeon also took the opportunity to introduce his children, he first pointed at the girl
"Well this is my daughter somi and that is my son jungkook" aliyah eyes light up, when she finally saw the boy, he was beautiful and also giving emo, he looked emotionless and handsome at the same time, while she was admiring him his eyes met hers and she quickly looked away with a sight blush on her cheek while he just scoffed
Aliyah's pov
"Hi aliyah" somi waved and I waved back, she is very pretty and she actually looks nice, unlike her brother who looks like an ice cube, but who knows he might be nice too
"So kids, y'all will be starting school next week, you both will be going to the same school with jungkook and somi" my dad announced and I had no problem with it, surprisingly my brother didn't have a problem as well
"Omg yes, we're gonna be besties aliyah" Somi said while clapping her hands
"Definitely" I replied
"I need to go to the toilet" jungkook said while standing up, I finally heard his voice, his voice is also attractive
"Sure Aliyah will take you there" my mum assured him and I stood up and ushered him to follow me, while walking, I decided to start up a convo
"Hi I'm Aliyah " I said in hopes he would introduce himself too
"I didn't ask" he said without looking in my direction
"Rude" I mumbled with that I showed him the bathroom and he walked in and banged the door
"Yah, this is a new house don't come here and start destroying anything " I shouted
"I don't care , now get lost" he, resorted and I just rolled my eyes and cursed him in every language I know
