Aliyah's pov
After two periods of class, it was finally break time everyone was already leaving the classroom while me and yuqi were packing up our things
"While everyone is going to the cafeteria, why don't we have our lunch at the school basketball court and cheer" yuqi suggested and I couldn't even say no
Minutes passed and we were finally at the basketball court, we were walking towards our seats and suddenly I got hit and all the food on my tray splashed on my uniform, I looked up and saw that it was jungkook, no sign of remorse on his face he was going to walk by and I quickly yanked him back
"Are you blind or something? can't you watch where you're going?" I asked him while he just yanked himself from me
"I should be the one asking you that, you weren't even watching where you were going, and moreover you should be thanking me for trashing your food away, at least you can lose up some kilos, you fat piece of trash"

be heard all over and even gossips too, I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes as tears began to form. I was angry, hurt, and confused all at once. Why did jungkook have to be so cruel? And why did I still feel drawn to him despite everything? Soon the gossips start getting louder
"Who does she think she is to yank jungkook like that "
"She looks like the word glutton"
"Serves her right, next time she will know her place"

I could hear the mean comments about me from here and there, and there were mostly from girls
"Hey that's not nice " yuqi said to jungkook, while he just scoffed and walked away
As I watched jungkook walk away, I couldn't help but wonder what made him tick, was he always that cruel, or was there something deeper driving his behaviour
"Are you okay?" Yuqi asked driving me out of my thoughts
"Yh, let's get out of here" I said in between my sobs and she nodded and walked me out
I couldn't believe I would be body shamed on my first day, now my insecurities starts to trigger
As the day wore on
Hours passed by and now it was closing hours, yuqi had gone home while I stood outside waiting for my brother, I finally saw him coming and he walked towards me
"You good" he asked and I just nodded, then our car arrived and we head home
Minutes passed by and we're already home, I rushed inside my room to go pee while my brother went to do his own things, after I was done with business I quickly freshen up and went downstairs
"Ah liyah , how was your first day?" My mum asked while handing me some hot choco
"It wasn't bad " I muttered
"How bout you yeomie" she asked turning to my brother
"It was good ma" he replied
"Alr that's good to hear, I'm so glad y'all love your new school" she said while heading upstairs while me and yugyeom just hummed
Hours later
Hours passed by and it was already dark, we already had dinner now I'm getting ready to go sleep, i jumped on my bed and recalled all what happened today, I can't believe he is that mean, and I can't believe i still find him attractive, but he body shamed me and I'd be lying if I said it didn't affect me, well I'm just going to ignore it, im not going to let him affect my stay here , mumbled as I began to doze of

It's my fourth year in Busan, and also my fourth year schooling here, it's been hell for me with all the bullying and all, I had no friends apart from somi and yuqi and we ain't that close, and I also can't believe that I still have feelings for that jerk, after everything he has done, he is the main source of my bullying but I still like him, during the last semester he stopped tomenting me and I think he has changed, I hope
Here I am getting ready for school, it's the first day of school for this semester, I looked at myself in the mirror and I loved the way I was looking, all my baby fats are gone but that doesn't make me have the same body type to the girls in school, not fat and I'm also not slim, I'm more like thick, not my best choice for body shape but at least it's better than before, I quickly grabbed my bag and ran downstairs
"Oppa, where's mum and dad" I said asking my brother while opening the fridge to take some juice
"They didn't tell you?" He asked, his eyes not leaving his phone
"Tell me what?" I asked as I take a sip of my juice
"Mum and dad are leaving for Nigeria" he said his eyes still not leaving his phone
"Why are they going to Nigeria?" I asked
"Mum younger sis is getting married to someone from there"he said
"Oh aunt Sara?" I asked and he hummed
"Yep" he said
"So I won't see them till when?" I asked
"Next week" he bluntly replied
"And congratulations to her" I said while grabbing my bag
"You coming or what?" I asked exiting the house
"Yh yh hold on " he replied rushing behind me
Time skips
We finally got to school and yugyeom went to his class while I went to my locker, I was looking for my lipgloss while someone slammed my locker against my face
" Hey b***h"
I turned around to see it was soyeon
"Girl what you want " I asked with annoyance visible on my face, I'm tired of her shits, I ain't gonna let her bully me no more
"Uhm attitude, have you forgotten your place" she asked as she proceeded to grab my hair
"Idk have you, cos the last time I checked, you didn't know yours" , I said harshly yanking her hands away
"Yah, you dumb b***h, you've grown wings right, well I'll put you back to your place" she said as she proceeded to slap me, I was expecting a sting pain on my face but suddenly someone grabbed her hand before she could slap me
"Ju -jungkook" soyeon sluttered
Omg what what, I my mumbled
As Jungkook grabs Soyeon's wrist, his eyes lock onto mine, and for a fleeting moment, I see something unexpected - a flicker of warmth, or maybe even concern. But then, his expression hardens, and he turns back to Soyeon, his voice low and menacing. "Leave her alone." Soyeon's eyes narrow, but she backs off, shooting me a venomous glance. As Soyeon storms off, Jungkook's gaze lingers on me, leaving me wondering: Why did he intervene? And what does he want from me?
