Episode 1: The Dawn Breaks
The city was quiet, too quiet for a morning sky painted in gold and blue. From the rooftop, Selina Voss crouched, her sharp eyes scanning the streets below. The world thought she was dead—buried alongside the comrades she once called family. But shadows don’t die. They wait.
Her fingers brushed over the old pendant hanging from her neck—the last thing she carried from her past life. Every sunrise reminded her of the betrayal, of the screams, of the fire that consumed everything she loved.
Today was different.
Today, she would no longer hide.
Selina slipped the pistol from her holster and checked the magazine. The metal was cold against her skin, but her heart burned hotter than the rising sun. She had found the first name on her list. The traitor who had sold them out.
Below, a convoy of black cars rolled into the street. Armed guards stepped out, scanning their surroundings. At the center, a man in a gray suit adjusted his tie, his arrogance clear even from a distance.
Selina’s lips curled into a thin, dangerous smile.
“The forgotten are rising,” she whispered to herself. “And I’ll make sure they never forget.”
With a swift motion, she leapt from the rooftop into the chaos of the waking city.
