I was working at my desk when I heard a knock on the door. But before I could reply, the door swung open.
I was about to get annoyed but when I saw the person who opened the door, I smiled instead and said “It can only be you”.
Ethan walked towards me and sat down, “Of course, it can only be me who dares to barge into the almighty and scary CEO’s office”.
We both bursted into laughter and he continued, “Your employees are too scared to look at you, let alone talk to you”.
He was teasing me, but everything he said was true. People at the office were intimidated by me. But Ethan was different. He knew how to handle me and we've been best of friends for 8 years now.
