Marcus POV
“Is she going to accept the offer?” I thought to myself
“What if she refuses?” I started to worry but then I thought.
“No way, I need to make her accept it. No one has ever turned me down before and she wouldn't be the first to do so” I murmured to myself.
“Marcus! Marcus! What's going on? You look distracted” My friend, Ethan whispered in a low voice.
I turned to him and tried to act calm, “No it's nothing”, but I was still thinking about whether she would accept my offer.
I was worried about what would happen if she said no.
Just then, Alex appeared at my side and whispered into my ear.
“Sir, there is a lady requesting an audience with you”
I turned to him and asked curiously, “What's her name?” my voice was low and intrigued.
“Olivia, sir” Alex replied.
