“This is all my fault sir, I should have been more careful” I reacted before he even got me. He paused in front of me, his right hand closing the door, leaving us all alone in the room. “No, it’s not your fault” he changed his words. His hands reached for my face and he cupped it in his hand, it almost made me puke but I held myself. “But you were about to lash out on me, you pointed at me” I played my act perfectly, I could see how smitten his eyes were. Does he have any dignity left in him. “No, I was about to ask you to get on the phone and find out what happened. This is not your fault. If it’s anybody’s fault, it’s mine.” He pulled away and stared at the files on the desk. “Maybe my presentation just wasn’t good enough. I hate to see all my hard work go to waste” Hard work!
