“There is this project I need you to accept, Project Soul by the Gomez enterprises”
“I see” he nods as he listens carefully.
“Have you heard about it?” I demanded, the man earlier said he had sent it to him, perhaps the project had reached his desk.
“Yes, I have gotten the proposal a couple of times, I rejected it” he said.
“Why did you reject it?”
“It was useless, anyone could see what was going on, the project wouldn’t finish in 70 years time, the proposed plan and the technology needed for it are not yet adequate enough, I followed through with the team and it was just a bunch of powerful people in government.
Turns out it was just a means to embezzle funds for a political campaign. I didn’t bother to figure out what campaign it was about” he narrates.
Well that explains a lot.
