The next time I opened my eyes, it was to a strange environment,
“Where am I?” I asked, with no one around me to focus on.
“Are you awake?” Melvin suddenly appeared into my view, I could see the worry disappear from his face.
“Hi” I smiled when I saw his face.
“You are in the hospital, you fainted” he stated.
I thought back about what happened, when I remembered catching a glimpse of Gaston and hearing his voice.
My eyes widened at that memory.
“I sent him home” Melvin said realizing my reaction.
“Shouldn’t I?” He asked, scared that he might have ruined my plans.
“No, it’s a good thing” I replied.
Gaston seeing me move on would hurt him more, he would feel guilty about it and think it might be his fault.
It was plan B, although I didn’t expect it to happen sooner.
