I finally found my voice after three minutes of being frozen,
“You are certain of this” I asked again, just to be sure.
“Yes Miss Diana” the doctor answered confidently then gives us space.
I had been a daze for a few minutes before I turned to Melvin, he stood by my side with his head below his neck.
“I see why you tried to push me away before” he said looking defeated.
He looked guilty of something, that was all I could read from his face.
“What are you talking about?” I inquired, holding the sheets over my body.
