Rebecca I got home to find Gaston on the bed with his head resting on the bed rest, his eyes closed. I took off my clothes and changed into something more comfortable and hid the result in my purse in the closet. I sat beside him on the bed waiting for him to notice my presence but his eyes were still close. Feeling frustrated I called out to him, “Gaston” “Hmm” he breathe, “What do you think about having a baby?” I asked him. He opened his eyes and looked at me. “What do you mean?” He asked. “What if we had a baby” I clarified. He sat upright and nodded his head, “is this a joke?” “No” I shook my head slowly. “I don’t want a child” he stated. His response broke me, how much did hate me that he didn’t want a child for himself. “Why?” “Kids are a nuisance” he replied coldly.
