I stood close to the window that had a clearer view of the garden, while I watched Daniela and Elodie— my Luna get along so well.
They held hands while they walked through the garden and spoke in voices I couldn’t really hear well, because of the barrier and the distance from the window.
Daniela came in line when I needed her and she passed my test. I knew she was definitely going to get so well with Elodie because they both were the same age bracket.
Footsteps approached distracting me from my thoughts, while I stared at the window, seeing the way Elodie ran happily away from the garden, her presence slowly fading away from the garden.
Elodie couldn’t feel any emotions through me, even as her mate. She hated me, I wasn’t going to let her go through any pain.
