I sat at the veranda, staring at the graciously manicured garden. Just like how it was before I left home, the grasses were trimmed to perfection. The Gardner came everyday to take care of the garden. It was my favorite spot in the house. The smell of the garden helped calm my nerves, allowing me process my thoughts better. The ray of the sunlight spread a soft glow, and a calm breeze scuffed the dried leaves lying close to the trees. Despite how soothing this felt to my ears, I was far gone from the environment.
