3 The sun woke up as I made my way to work on William Nicol and turned onto Sandton Drive. The Sandton skyline loomed in the dark ahead of me and the morning DJ was making a noise on 5FM. Finally, he shut up and started playing some music. Madonna’s latest hit thumped through the back speakers. I pulled into the office garage. I was usually the first person there, so it was deserted, except for the half-asleep security guards. I drove down to the basement and parked in my designated spot.
