Derrick and Diana went shopping and ate out before coming back home. They noticed Killian from a distance standing by Derricks's gate. Diana wondered what was going on when Derrick became angry.
"Perhaps Killian is so eager to die at my hands," he said to Diana as he killed his engine and opened the door of his car for her.
They both walked toward Killian and Derrick held tightly to Diana's hand. He didn't know what Killian's motive was but he suspected that Killian was looking for a way to injure him before the day of the war arrived.
