Diana stared at Derrick with tears in her eyes, unable to answer his question. She could not tell him that Williams was her friend because she knew how it was going to sound to him. All she could do was cry and beg him to spare Williams' life.
After a while, Derrick finally controlled his anger and let go of Williams who was bleeding from his nose, his mouth and his ears.
