An unexpected visitor

It was past 8 in the evening, and I had just finished a call with Mama. She seemed so delighted to hear about my new job and my plans to get a bigger place before December so she could come live with me.

My son, David, would be on holiday by then, and I wanted to make the transition as smooth as possible.

I tuned in the television to my favorite soap opera, "Story by Chloe" I wouldn't miss it for anything in the world, after the day's episode , I decided to take a quick shower to ensure I got enough rest for work tomorrow.

I got into the bathroom, turn on the water heater and had my bath.

After my shower, I stepped out of the bathroom, wrapping my favorite pink towel around my chest. drying my wet hair with the hair dryer .

I heard a knock at the door, and my first thought was that it must be Chioma, she loves taking me unawares.

I rushed to open the door, my heart pounding, expecting to see Chioma. But to my shock, it was not her. Standing before me was none other than Mr. Chike, my boss.
