Sienna The ride home was almost silent. The hum of the car filled the space where our voices should’ve been. I stared out the window, watching the passing lights blur into gold and white streaks. Everything from earlier replayed in my head — Caleb’s tone, Kendra’s uneasy face, Ava’s teasing questions. Each memory pressed down on me until I felt like I couldn’t breathe.
