Dad’s voice carried up the stairs, firm and sharp.
“Sienna! Jaxon! Downstairs. Now.”

We both froze. My stomach tightened. The way he called our names wasn’t just casual. I glanced at my mirror, brushed down my hair quickly, and hurried out of my room.
