Sienna The silence stretched for a few seconds before Jaxon finally reached for the handle. My breath caught as the door eased open. Standing there was the tour guide — the same cheerful guy from yesterday, holding a clipboard and wearing that easy, tourist-manager smile. “Oh, good morning!” he said brightly, clearly unaware of the storm he had just caused in my chest. “Hope I didn’t wake you two.” Jaxon blinked, still half in shock. “Uh, no… we were just…” He glanced back at me. “Getting ready.” The guide nodded, checking something off his list. “Perfect!
