I lay there staring at the last text from Jaxon, grinning like an i***t, my heart still racing from the thought of what could’ve happened if his mom had walked upstairs.
I typed quickly, fingers trembling just a little:
“You’re crazy, you know. I can’t believe you came to my room like that last night. We almost got caught.”
His reply came fast, like he’d been waiting with that smirk of his:
Jaxon: “Worth it. Every second.”
I bit my lip, heat rushing to my face. I hated how easily he got to me. My thumbs moved before I thought twice.
“You were moaning loud though. If anyone was going to get us caught, it was you.”
Three dots blinked. Then:
Jaxon: “Loud? Please. You almost bit my shoulder to stop yourself from screaming. Don’t try me.”
