"That's enough, Riley. It's not like he's dead or something. The doctor said he'll be fine" Delilah says. I can't say she's trying to console me because her tone is harsh.
"Yeah, he'll be fine. Five days of unconsciousness and he's still going to be fine. If you were half convinced, I don't think you'd look as terrible as you are now" I fire.
"Guys, please. The doctor said we should be mindful of our words in here. We should be saying positive things, not getting on each other's throats" Rhett says. I glance at Renzo, who's leaning tiredly on Liam's shoulder.
"Are we going to pretend this isn't her fault? If she had just gotten rid of the damn thing, we wouldn't be in this situation" She huffs.
"How is any of this my fault? What has the abortion got to do with his situation?
