4. Meg

997 Words

MegThere’s nothing worse than a vampire worrying about dying. To humans, I’m already dead. But no one is going to shed a tear for one less vampire. Sometimes paranorms are judgmental; some are worse than humans. At least the paranorms understand that much of our world is unexplainable. It’s enough effort to live the life we have without bending ourselves out of shape about how to classify it. Lying in Ash’s arms, my fear morphs into pain. I am dying again. Ash removes my clothes. A snowsuit is a pain to get on, but trying to get a wet one off when I can’t move my limbs is a b***h. He curses as he rips my final layers of T-shirt
