KRIS “What are you staring at?” Magkasing-tangkad kami nang five feet and ten inches. ‘God! He’s so sexy in that black ripped jeans and fitting white shirt!’ A crazy drunken b***h had her hands all over me. Eww! Nakakadiri. Hanggang ngayon ay para akong masusuka. Then came her boyfriend from the john, it turned out. I was about to get hit when someone stopped the bastard’s hand to connect with my beautiful, flawless face. Alagang sabong papaya pa naman ito, ‘no? And who stopped it to happen? It was Bastien Baltazar. He was my anime-looking crush since high school. Siya lang naman ang basagulero kong schoolmate. He was older than me for a year. I was sixteen and he was seventeen. Heck! It was ten years ago. But I couldn’t believe my luck last night. And I couldn’t believe that he looked like a sizzling Hollywood star now that we were older. I couldn’t help but ogle him last night. Hanggang sa umalis ‘yong magsyotang nakakaimbyerna. He just threatened to buy their lives and their bodies wouldn’t be found anywhere on land. How crazy was that? But really. It was like he was my f*****g Knight in Shining Armor at ako ang Damsel in Distress! Yuck. Ang cliché. Just that I was the Gay in Distress. “Hindi ba kita puwedeng tingnan, Kris Eugraf?” Hinagod pa niya ako ng tingin with those smoldering eyes. I was wearing a navy blue three-piece suit. Siyempre dahil nasa trabaho ako at nandito kami ngayon sa luxurious office ko. I hid my reddening face. Napayuko ako at pasimpleng napahilamos ng aking mukha. “How much do you want, Bastien?” He snorted. His dark and beautiful eyes grazed my face as he walked toward where I sat. “Everything has a price for you, huh?” I blinked. I played it cool. His hands were splayed on my desk, which was made of brown mahogany wood. It was of oval shape with stylish legs. Parang ako lang. Stylish din. His smoothed back fringe fell on his forehead. Gusto kong hawiin ‘yon at haplusin ang guwapong mukha niya. Shet! Ang bading-bading ko na. I’ve never been this attracted to a man before. Siya lang. And nobody knew my preferred gender and type. Kahit ang pamilya ko. And they shouldn’t know about it. Ayoko. Both women were from well-respected and very well-off families in the province—ang mga Rivera at Torres. They were also powerful families in the country. “How else can I repay for what you’ve done last night? Just tell me. I’ll give it to you, Bastien.” I simply looked at him. Umakto akong parang prinsipe. Oh, well. I’m the only prince and heir of the Eugraf family. And I’m currently handling the trucking business. Such a headache dahil parang wala na akong pahinga kahit weekends dahil napaka-demanding na trabaho. Bastien gave me a slow smirk. Shet! I want to grab his face and give him a torrid kiss! Right here, right now. His eyes roved all over my face, and they lingered on my lips. ‘Or am I just assuming it? Okay, huwag assumera, Kris.’ But because of it, nag-react ang alaga ko. Naisip ko lang na napatingin siya sa lips ko, it was enough a turn on! Por Dios por santo. “Give me a night with you, Kris.” He straightened up. Medyo umawang ang mga labi ko. Did I just hear him right? “What?” I exclaimed with mouth gaped open. Nandilat pa ang mga mata ko. “You heard me. I won’t repeat myself.” “Okay. “I’ll call you. Just cool it, Kris. Let’s take it slow.” Then he winked at me. Shet! I was positive he noticed my bulging front. He gave me a knowing smile, then he winked at me again before he calmly strode out of my office. I blew my flaming red face. ‘Does he know I’m gay?’ “Yes, Manang. I was disappointed and hurt. Just as usual. Kris will die on his wedding day. I’ve seen him die over and over everytime I checked the future. It’s been like this for about a couple of years now. It is almost the same over and over again at kaunti lang ang ipinagkaiba. Is there really no other way to save him? But I can’t lose him. I don’t want to. I don’t want to give up... I don’t want to end up like my future self who’s still mourning for him. I can’t…
