The dinner finally came to an end. The servants began clearing the table while my father remained in the dining hall, laughing with Paul and several of the kingdom's most respected warriors. Their voices echoed through the room, accompanied by the clinking of wine glasses. I excused myself quietly. "I'll get some fresh air," I told my mother with a small smile.She nodded warmly.
