Chapter 45 No Turning Back (Part I)
Kyhan Silence fell on the room as soon as we walked in. Luan stiffened beside me and squeezed my hand. I rubbed circles with my thumb on the back of her hand to soothe her. The room was divided into three: the Red Claw Pack, the Red Circle, and the Moon Stone Pack. Their positions, however, were not ideal for what was about to be discussed. Alpha Liam and his mate were seated on the sofa that faced the fireplace. His Beta and Head Gamma stood behind them and his Head Healer was beside his mate. Another sofa, adjacent to their left, sat Helia, Reire, and Penny. As for Raphael, he stood behind the pair of accent chairs directly across the Red Circle. Well, then, if this was how they were going to play it. The location was Rigel’s whining, but this set-up was definitely Helia’s. No apolog
