Reconnect

I was scared when Nathan came back

I was also confused by what had happened a few nights ago.

Nobody has acted different, well except for Jim who somewhat knew about it.

Nathan also distanced himself from me and has started spending a lot of time with Jewel.

Why is he so attached to that little girl that he had to kill her family, give her to me, and then kidnap us.

But the more I watch them interact she kinda looks like him, maybe they were related or something.

"Why are you staring at him?" Jim asked me.

I don't even know when he showed up,

"I wasn't meaning to stare." Was all i said before looking down

"They are so much alike that its scary" Jim said before letting out some weird laugh.

"We have the same laugh, were unique" i said again letting out the same weird laugh Jim made only moments before.

"I just want to let you know that i'm not mad at you for anything that has happened" Jim said pulling me into a little hug "but i do have to get back to doing what i was doing before, i will see you later."

When Jim moved away a not so happy Nathan was revealed, sending glares Jim's direction.

All the boys left to go do whatever they do, i was watching Jewel draw.

"Look what I made" she yelled excitedly

I looked down at the paper to see a male, who i assumed is her dad, a woman who is probably her mom, and then her.

"It's so pretty, where do you want to hang it?" I asked her sitting up

"In yours and dad's room"

"What do you mean honey?" I was feeling confused by what she just said

"It's me, you, and daddy. Your mommy and Nat Nat is daddy." She said smiling at me

"Ok" was all i said giving her a smile

I don't want to possibly hurt her and tell her im not her mom

I can see though why she would call me mom, but why is she calling him her dad?
