Rylen's POV Rylen froze mid-step, his blood turning cold as a familiar, gut-wrenching sound echoed down the corridor. Juniper’s scream, raw and full of agony, ripped through the sterile air. His jaw clenched, and his fists balled at his sides. The sound ignited a fire in him, a primal need to act. He glanced around, his keen eyes scanning the dimly lit corridor.
