Chapter 4~ Celest

I continued down the hall to go to dinner when an attractive man appeared out of nowhere right in front of me. I yelped in surprise, my eyes widening at the sudden intrusion.
“I’m sorry Celest, I didn’t mean to scare you like that.” He chuckled
After my heart rate slowed back down I took a closer look and realized that the man in front of me was Eros. Much like Apollo, he was tall and muscular. But his skin was a more bronze color, and his eyes were the color of the sea after a storm. And his hair was a rich chocolate brown, cropped short.
“It’s ok, Sir.” I replied and bowed my head
He then laughed, like full on deep from the gut laughter. “You don’t have to address me as ‘Sir’ Celest, I’m not like the other stuffy Olympians here.”
I gave him a small smile and he gave me a wide smile in return, a dazzling smile, all perfect white teeth. I heard someone clear their throat behind him and I looked up to see none other than Apollo himself, seething as he was witnessing the interaction between me and Eros. I could feel the blood drain from my face as he stalked over, closing the distance.
“What are you doing Cousin?” He demanded
“Don’t get your panti.es in a twist Apollo, I was just talking to her.” Eros replied, amused
I watched as Apollo glowered at Eros, towering over his cousin’s form. Eros didn’t back down and I could sense that he was enjoying this display.
“I also thought she could use a wardrobe update for dinner.” He smirked as he waved his hand in my direction
The air shimmered with magic and my simple purple dress vanished and was replaced by a blood red dress, short with a split in the skirt, and sheer, though all of the important bits were still covered, and a plunging neckline that artfully showed the swells of my brea.sts.
Eros walked away grinning, leaving Apollo both shaking in rage and his eyes darkening with lust, and I knew that I would end up in his bed tonight. I was hoping for a reprieve, but I guess that dream died along with my purple dress.
