Chapter 3

I stared at him in disbelief. The nerve of this man. He just called me a gold digger indirectly. How dare he! If he thought that I would let go of him without a fight then he was wrong.

I hurriedly went in front of him and stopped him from moving he stared at me irritatedly.

" Hey wait. How dare you call me a gold digger? And which sane person drives at such high speed? So technically it's your fault and you are the stupid person here and not to forget an obnoxious jerk." I said to him angrily.

"I didn't call you any gold digger. You did it by yourself. Now move I don't have any time to argue with a psychotic stupid woman" he said arrogantly.

" I am not a psychotic stupid woman. Rather you are a mannerless arrogant brat who thinks so highly of himself" I spat at him and walked away. He was about to shout at me but at the same time, his phone rang. He glared at me and took it while walking away making me fume in anger.

I calmed myself down. That jerk. He didn't have any manners. If it wasn't that late I would have surely taught him a better lesson. I was still fuming when Suddenly the puppy Burked a little. I forgot about him. I didn't know what to do with him. I surely couldn't take him with me as it wasn't allowed. And he was too cute to be left behind. I didn't know who left him there. That person surely was heartless.

I looked at the puppy and it barked cutely again. A name popped in my mind I knew the person will surely help me out.

So I instantly dialled her number.

She picked up after the first ring.

"Hello"

" Hi, Hazel, could you come in front of the 'Summer Cafe' near our University dorm? I need your help." I asked her over the phone.

"Sure, but what happened? Are you alright?" She asked me worriedly.

"Don't worry, I am totally fine. You just come here then I will tell you everything." I replied to her.

"Okay, I will be there in 20 minutes." She said and hung up.

I waited there while sitting on a bench. I fed the puppy little snacks which were in my bag. I looked at the sky and saw the beautiful moon shining on the sky. I stared at it while the puppy rested on my lap.

After almost half an hour Hazel came and rushed towards me.

" What happened? She asked me when she reached me.

I told her everything including the jerk. She laughed aloud and I scowled at her.

"So, could you please keep this puppy with you?" She smiled and said,

"Sure, I also love animals"

I thanked her. She offered to drive me back to my dorm which I accepted as it was already late. We hopped in her car which seemed expensive. She started the car and soon we reached my dorm.

I thanked her again and handed her the puppy. We bade our byes and she left for her home. I entered my dorm room. I changed my dress and wore my PJs. I quickly had my dinner as I was really hungry. After dinner, I checked the time and decided to call my Mom as it was a day in there.

After the second ring she picked up my call and I talked to her and my family. I told her not to worry about me but she started crying. My vision also blurred but I composed myself as I have to be strong. After talking to her for few more minutes I hung up.

I went to my study table and start doing my assignments.

It was past 11 when I finished my studies. I was so tired then. I needed to sleep. I got up and went to bed and laid down under the comforter. I closed my eyes and suddenly recalled what had happened today. Instantly I remembered those ocean blue eyes. I shook my head and drifted to deep slumber.

The next day I woke up because of the continuous ringing of my alarm which I fixed on my phone before going to sleep. It was 6:30 am. I quickly got up and had a shower. I changed into a pair of faded blue skinny jeans and a cold shoulder white top. I had kept my hair open and put on some powder foundation, mascara and lip gloss. Satisfied with how I looked I went to check my assignments.

I packed my bag and went out.

It was time to have breakfast so I headed to the hall to have my breakfast. I brought pancakes, eggs and orange juice. I took a seat, completed my breakfast.

After finishing my breakfast I started to walk to my college. It was a peaceful walk to the university. I reached and was walking through the campus when My phone beeped. When I checked it I saw it was a text from Hazel.

Hazel: where are you? I am waiting in front of my locker.

Me: wait there. I am coming in 5 mins.

Hazel: OK. Come fast.

After texting her I was

Keeping my phone in my bag when I bumped into a hard wall.

"Ouch," I said while rubbing my forehead.

When I looked up to see the wall I saw it wasn't a wall. It was a human. Not any normal human but the arrogant jerk from yesterday's night.

When our eyes met we both yelled in unison.

"YOU?"

"YOU?"

We stared at each other than again said,

"What are you doing here?

" What are you doing here?"

"Stop copying me," he said annoyingly.

" I am not copying you, rather you are copying me. So you should stop that. And I study here that's why I am here". I spat at him. I didn't get angry so easily but this guy was making me angry with his mare sight.

" I am not copying you. And last time I checked this college was only for genius students. So how can a stupid like you got admission here to this prestigious college?" he said mockingly while pretending to think deeply.

Instantly I got angry. How dare he insult me like that? I wasn't an i***t like him. Though my mother sometimes called me an i***t, he didn't know that plus that didn't give him any rights. I glared at him.

" Well, I was thinking the same. How could our prestigious college allow a top-class obnoxious jerk like you? And for your information, I got admission here because I was qualified. " I also said mocking him.

His face reddened indicating he was very angry.

"Really? Our college might take pity on you. That's why you were accepted." he said with a mocking smirk.

"Really!? What are you? Five years old? Come on I only argue with grownups not with a childish idiot." I said with a scoff and walked away. So mature of him.

He was about to say something but Zeus who was Hazel's ex-boyfriend and Adeel's friend came and said,

" Woah, I can't believe it. This girl has beat you by her words" he said while laughing loudly.

"Shut up" he growled at his friend and glared at me. I saw all Adeel's friends were laughing and coming towards us. They were also this jerk's friend? I thought to myself and started to walking away as I was getting late because of this stupid jerk.

"Remember, this isn't over yet" I heard the jerk's yelling. I ignored him and kept walking. I didn't want to waste my happy mood by arguing with him.

He was a mannerless person. I thought to myself and kept walking.

As I reached my locker I spotted Hazel there. She was glaring at me for being late. I just smiled sheepishly at her.

" Care to explain why are you late? I was waiting here for you for the past 15 minutes " she asked while scowling at me.

"I met the jerk from yesterday's night. He is such an annoying person. He started a stupid fight with me that's why I am late" I replied to her while taking out my books for the class.

She looked at me with wide eyes and asked,

"Really? He studies here? What is his name? And which year?"

I scowled at her. She looks so excited about the jerk. How could I know about him? I didn't run a background check on him? But seeing how excited she was I should have run one. I thought sarcastically.

" I don't know anything about him except he is a pure jerk and is a friend of your brother's friends."

I replied to her while we walked through the hallway.

"Adeel's friend? Then I surely know him? Did you saw all the boys yesterday, right? Was he among them?" She asked me.

"No, he wasn't there yesterday" I replied to her as we entered the classroom and took our seat.

I remembered that I didn't see Hazel's brother's face.

Is it possible that the jerk was Adeel? I asked myself.

Instantly I snickered at my thoughts. No way. It wasn't possible. Hazel was so sweet like an angel so her brother must be a sweet angel like her fallen straight from heaven. But that jerk reminds me of Satan straight from hell not an angel from paradise. I brushed my thoughts aside as the professor entered the classroom. I gave my full concentration in the lecture.

It was broken time already and I was standing in a line in front of the cafeteria waiting for my turn to buy my and Hazel's food.

It was almost my turn when suddenly someone broke into the line without any care of the world. That was wrong he couldn't do that. I was waiting here for the past 10 mins for my turn. He just couldn't break the rule.

" Hey, get into the line. You can't break the rules. We all are waiting here for our turns." I yelled behind the guy. I was a girl who followed rules strictly. I hated breaking any rules. I also hated it when someone else breaks it in front of me. That person had to bear my wrath.

Slowly the guy turned around and looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

My scowl turned into shock and then into anger when I noticed that he was the jerk.

And I could proudly announce that his expression mirrored mine.

" And who are you to tell me that? The dean or The Vice-Chancellor ?" He asked me while smirking.

" No, but these rules are made by the authority so you just can't break them," I said to him angrily.

He smirked devilishly and said, "I can do whatever I want. No one has any problem with that. What say, guys? Anyone has any problem?"

He asked indicating all the students present there. I looked around and saw all of them had a bored or amused look on their faces except for his friends and they all shook their heads in 'No'.

Were they scared? Was he any kind of Almighty here? How could he control everyone? It's a kind of bullying and he just couldn't do that. And I was surely not going to bear his bullshit.

Seeing my reaction he again just smirked and said,

"Look, they don't have any problems."

"They may not have any problems but I have," I said while crossing my hand over my chest.

"That's your problem to solve, not mine." He said and started to walk away.

I scoffed irritatedly at him and was about to go away when he stopped and turned around with a juice can in his hand. I ignored him and started to walk away but suddenly he said,

"Stop."
