Synopsis:

Vampire King Demetrius is known to be the most notorious, ruthless, merciless creature the world has ever known. The monster of the Kingdom of The Dead, some call him. And some others claim he's death himself.

For the faeries at least, he is. Vampires and faeries have been sworn enemies for centuries, and so are their Kings. It is inevitable when the faeries' blood is the purest, most desirable thing for a vampire.

But what happens when Demetrius' own actions force him to wed no other but Faerie King Silas' illegitimate daughter, after centuries that he has spent without a Queen by his side?

When he is convinced there doesn't exist a mate for him, when it is well known that no faerie has ever mated outside of their specie, how does she happen to be his fated mate?

Demetrius swears to make her life a living hell. Except, when he expects her to be the little innocent faerie that he can easily play with, his darling wife happens to be as cunning and manipulative as he is.
