Surprise

Present:

Sasha's POV:

Hansh placed his hand on mine, I turned to look at him and we shared a smile.

"Don't worry, everything will be alright" he kissed the back of my hand.

We are going to meet my bestie Kri, of course, Ray as well. We reached their house. There's a weird feeling in my stomach, maybe I'm a little tense.

I knocked on the door and a little kid opened it and started staring at me.

Kri's POV:

"Licie who's that?"I asked from the kitchen.

"Mama, it's the one from the photo" she giggled.

"What photo baby?"I came to the door.

There stood Sasha with Hansh. I couldn't believe what I'm seeing. Sasha got in and hugged me. I stood there in shock. I didn't return her hug either. We stepped away from each other.

"How are you doing?" she asked with excitement.

I'm still processing. I felt Ray's hands around my shoulder.

"It's good to see you both, please get in" he invited them in. I smiled at Hansh and lead the way.

We sat and talked about how things are going on. I congratulated them.

"Is she your daughter?"Hansh asked.

"Mama looks, the photo"Licie brought the photo. I smiled and told her to play with Yagna.

I looked at Hansh "She's my daughter but adopted one and Yagna is my daughter"I replied.

"They both are our daughters"Ray smiled.

"Licie feels familiar," Hansh said.

"She reminded me of Srivi" Sasha gave a tight smile. Hansh stiffened his body.

"Are you pitying her?"I got angry, I don't know why.

"She doesn't mean that"Hansh smiled and took the photo from me.

"Do you remember our first meeting?"Hansh asked.

By listening to that question our lips curled into a smile.

Past:

Srivi's POV:

We reached our university. There's this feeling of excitement, I don't know why.

"Okay srivi, whatever may happen, you best don't imagine things, especially him"I controlled my mind and got into class. Sasha went to her class, Kri wasn't feeling good so she stayed in the restroom.

After 2 hours I went to check on Kri. She's good. While returning to class I heard girls gossiping about some new handsome men...I wonder how many? But who transfers at the end semester?

At the end of the corridor, I again felt like someone watching me, when I turned back, there he stood with a smirk on his face. My eyes became wide.

No, it can't be, right?

"What happened? why are you zoning out?"Kri asked.

"Nah..it's just like that" I gave an awkward smile.

The classes are finished and now it's lunchtime. I got up and went to Kri "Sorry Sri, I gotta little work to do. Just wait for me in the cafeteria, I will catch you there" she said in hurry.

I asked her what's the matter about. "It's actually Ray is busy with some internship and he needs to submit some documents and I forgot to do so, I need to submit is ASAP" she explained.

"Okay, Okay..you go and submit, I will be waiting"I smiled.

As soon as I entered the cafeteria I found an empty place and I occupied it. I'm waiting for Kri and Sasha. I guess Sasha is busy with her department stuff..it happens most of the time.

I'm already feeling hungry, so I ordered an Oreo Milkshake. I started scrolling my insta while sipping on my milkshake. I heard a knock on my table, I left my head to see who it is and I choked on my Milkshake.

ALEC.

"What are you doing here?"I whisper yelled being surprised. I cast around the entire room.

"Are you searching for him?"He asked.

I scoffed. "But wait...what are you doing here?"I asked being confused.

"Surprise...surprise" he smiles wide.

"what?Surprise? you are making me more confused" I said.

Alec's POV:

I asked David whether he wants to meet or at least a small interaction with Srivi.

"I'm fine from far, there's still time" he replied.

I literally waited for half-day to meet Sri, but she's never alone. Finally, I found her alone in the cafeteria.

"Aren't you surprised?"I asked smiling wide because I missed her.

"I'm a bit more shocked" she let out a giggle.

"Though we never spent a lot of time together, I still missed you"I smiled.

"Will you believe, if I say me too?" she laughed.

We had our little reunion.
