X Man

David's POV :

We all got ready and waiting for Srivi. what's taking her this much time. I was talking with Alec about some random stuff and when I look at him. His jaw dropped. I turned my face in that direction. 'oh fuck.. My eyes became wide... She looks beautiful, but something came inside me.. Anger, fury... Don't know. She can't wear such a dress. She got down. She's uncomfortable I can see that in her face. She's so obvious.

She turned her gaze to me. Maybe she's expecting me to say something but I ain't gonna do that.

'common guys we are already late' I said and went out.

We were in the SUV. Soon we reached the place. We all got down. Scar held my arm tightly as if showing off to people that we are together. Alec and Srivi are walking side by side.

"is she the slut he bought?" someone whispered.

I didn't want to waste my time by giving attention to them. I turned to see Srivi. Her eyes widened. I released my hands from Scar and went near srivi.

"you said you bought me... Did you bought me as a slut?" she asked.

'It doesn't matter cos I never treated you like one' I pulled her close to me.

Srivi's POV :

I guess everyone here is thinking of me as a slut and this dress surely gonna confirm it. I can feel eyes on every inch of my skin. Everyone looking at me as if I'm prey. I clung to David. The whole party I was tailing him.

Alec's POV :

"Sri can you excuse us for 5min," I asked her.

She looked at David. Her looks were pleading. David patted on the back of her hands. We left her near the bar and went aside.

"So what's with the plan?" I asked.

"just need to find him and kill him," he answered.

"do you have any idea, how does he look?".

David's POV :

Don't know. Just need to find him. I think he's new here and he messed with the wrong person.

I saw someone approaching Srivi. They both talked for a while. He's taking her to the dance floor. They are dancing.

"I can smell smoke," Alec said.

I glared at him. He lifted his hands in the air.

Srivi's POV :

A man came near me. He's young, like of the same age as David. He asked me some questions, most of them really pissed me off, cos ugh every question of him involved David.

My eyes searched for David. For the first time, I want him to save me from this boring company. Finally, I found him. David, his hazel brown eyes. There's something in them... He's jealous. It can be seen in his eyes. I want to push him more.

This man asked me for a dance. I said I don't dance.

"Trust me, darling, just hold me tight," he said.

He grabbed me by my waist and within seconds, we are in the middle of the dance floor. He took the lead. I held him tight as if my life depends on him. Duh. Who wants to get embarrassed by falling.

He's controlling my body while dancing. He leaned in and inhaled my scent. Something about him doesn't feel right. I looked for David, he's nowhere in sight. He tried to kiss me. I pushed him and ran outside.

What the heck? I can't find anyone. Not scar, Alec, or David. I went outside. Finally, I can breathe. Out of blue someone grabbed my wrist and started dragging me. Hey, leave me, who are you? It's hurting. "sshh".he pointed his fingers to his nose. He has a mask on.

He tightened his grip around my wrist. I tried to free myself but failed. I'm successful in pulling his mask off. I stopped in my tracks

"you? why are you doing this?" I asked.

"cos I'm X," he said.

My eyes popped out "X..means you are the one who attacked the mansion?" I asked being confused.

"Yes baby girl, now behave" he gritted his teeth.

"Leave me you freak" I tried to kick him. He caught my leg and lifted me.

"Leave me" I tried to bite his arm. He didn't even jerk. He took me to the parking area and pinned me to a car.

I asked "what are you doing?" with a scared tone.

"I'm gonna mark you," he said.

"What? what marking? why are you even marking me?" my voice started to tremble.

"you are his, you are David's, if I mark you, it's like I'm challenging him." he pulled out a hand knife.

"You dumb ass are you out of your freaking mind? what challenge? what mark? I'm not his property, I'm no one's property. let me go." I snapped out.

"you talk a lot. don't you? better use that mouth to ask help." he turned me.

" what are you doing? you psycho, leave me"

"sshh" he brought the knife close to my bareback.

" you were good to me before on the dance floor, near the bar, why are you being like this now?"

"shut the f**k up" he blurted out.

when the cold metal got in contact with my back, a shiver ran down my spine. He started to dig the knife into my skin."ahh.." I winced in pain. Tears rolling down my cheek. I can feel the warm liquid on my back.

"shout, ask for help, call your master," he said laughing more like a victory smile.

"I don't have any master" I tried to say. He deepened the knife.

"Help, help, please someone help, David" I screamed at the top of my lungs. He pulled the knife out and dig it again. "ahh.." my eyes got shut with pain. After a second I didn't felt any pain everything blacked out.

David's POV:

Where is she? This girl is trouble, can't she stay in one place. I got out of the party. I searched everywhere. I heard screams, it's Sri... I ran in the direction of her voice. I saw her against a car, unconscious. I felt the rush of adrenaline in my veins. "leave her" I gritted.

"Well, well look who's here the David himself" he smiled.

"Hi X" I smirked.

Alec and scar soon reached the place. A hint of surprise can be seen in his eyes. he left Sri and started walking towards me.

"Surprising, you know me?" he asked.

"Isn't that obvious? no one here touches what's mine. You are new, so obviously you are X. I don't know what loss I did to you but involving her in this you did a mistake." I hit him in his jaw.

He tried to punch me but he's late. I shot straight into his chest and he died. Poor boy, he's still young but he messed with me. Alec took srivi into the car and we went to the mansion. Soon Doc came and treated srivi...that stupid marked X on her back. I went to my room and took a shower. It's hurting.
