Feeling Of Missing

*After a week*

Hansh's POV:

Done with the adjustments of the lifestyle, it's been a week already. Have to start the work now. My dad agreed to let me live on my own only if I still look after the business.

He gave me a task but I want to do it in my style. I went to the university and the principal came to receive me.

"Welcome Mr.Trivedi, it pleasure to meet you" he greeted me.

I can sense that he's tensed. I smiled "pleasure is mine sir, please drop the honorifics. Call me Hansh."

We went inside the meeting room and I studied the annual statistics of the university.

Recently dad bought 40% of the shares and I observed that someone recently purchased 35% shares, the university holds the other 25%. As the majority of the shares are under my name, we got the authority over the university.

So the responsibility given by my father is, I need to look after the university and how it deals with students and how effective the management works.

"Sir, I need a favor, "I asked the principal. "I want to join in the college and have closer look at everything. Don't disclose this to anyone "I said.

"what major you want to choose Hansh," he asked.

"Anything will do"I smiled.

Srivi's POV:

I gave a glance at the scar on my back in the mirror.

I should be happy right? finally, I got away from all the s**t but why I ain't happy? There's this feeling..missing?

But why would I be missing David? my thoughts dwell into the memories, into the times when David saved me.

I laid back on my bed, Still processing everything that happened to me. If I observe he saved me more than the times he scolded me. Actually, he scolded me whenever he saved me.

What does it mean? does he care about me?

I reminisced his smiley face and the strange single dimple he gets whenever he smiles and started smiling like some insane person.

"Are you okay? what are you smiling at?"Sasha's voice came from the door.

"Ahh..nothing"I gave an awkward smile "get in"I invited her in.

"You remembered what's tomorrow right?"Sasha asked.

"huh?"I looked at her with confusion written all over my face.

"Gosh girl, I can't believe it..how can you forget about Kri's birthday" she whispers yelled at me. "what's getting wrong with you Sri? recently you are spacing out a lot. Is everything fine?"Sasha asked.

I smiled and hugged her.

"s**t. I should stop thinking about David"I did a mental note.

"so, what are the plans?"I asked her.

"Actually, ray came up with a plan and some surprise for her, all we gotta do is just to get ready"Sasha gave a smile.

"But where are we going?"I asked. She explained to me the whole plan. "Ooooh" I let out a small giggle.

David's POV:

Something is not feeling right. There's a feeling of missing, though surrounded by a bunch of people in the meeting, I'm missing someone and I exactly know who it is.

It's Sri. I miss how dumb she can be in whatever the situation be. I miss her smile and giggles. I miss how much she talks back. Everyone here follows my orders like sheep but she's different.

Maybe that's why I'm missing her. I myself never wanted anything, I never cared for my happiness, what I want, or am I happy by doing all this? But she made me question myself...am I happy doing this? is being powerful makes me happy?

All I did was just for revenge. vengeance is all I ever wanted but now maybe I started wanting her too?

I sent a text to Alec, who's across the room.

*keep someone to guard srivi and keep in mind that she shouldn't be knowing about this.*

He glanced up and nodded.

Srivi's POV:

"Happy Birthday Kri" me and Sasha yelled by bashing into her room.

"Gosh, you guys scared me"I and Sasha laughed looking at each other.

"I will call you back," she said and hung up the call.

"Ah..huh.Did we disturbed your romantic time?"I wiggled my eyebrows.

She hit my shoulders. We three had a group hug. Sasha baked a cake. We had our little celebration and went to bed.

I called Kri "Ah...I forgot to tell you, get ready by 8:00 AM. We have to go somewhere" I said.

"Whom do you mean by us?" she asked.

"Of course us three"I giggled.

"And ray?" she asked.

"It's just us girls and we aren't sure about, whether we get to spend your next birthday like this or not. Maybe it will be you and ray from then"I teased her.

"Shut up" she cut the call.
