Cassandra knew it was a plan between the kids. Denzel’s face looks more serious as he mentioned Chloe.

Chloe has been eavesdropping all the conversations all along.. she opens her room door and heads downstairs.

“Hello Champs, so sweet to have you both around”.

“Hi Dad , Hi Mom”.

She hugs her brothers.

The maid sets the dining table with varieties of food. They all sat to the aroma of the delicious food. Eats in silence.

“It’s a great meal” Denzel started.

“Mom, we are here cause of you, you and dad has labor hard for many years to keep the family business going. We appreciate you both.”.

“You have taught us good morals of life which till date and forever we will be grateful for. The Cooper name is now a big name and a big brand. It’s far up in the high society.

“Inviting different people, total strangers to the house is not a good idea. We have to be cautious of our welfare. Denzel pause a bit to catch his breathe.

“Seriously speaking mom, people are dangerous to be trusted to invite them home. Chloe will get a husband one day which am very sure of.

“She is doing great at work helping to promote the business up. Do not distract her too much from work. She told Denzel she will leave the home if the nagging does not stop. Please mom, we know you want the best for her but just slow it down for now please”.. Damian cuts in.

“Oh!, now I see clearly. You all had a meeting behind me right?. Denise, are you also aware of the g**g up?. Well, okay have heard I will slow down my anticipation for now”.

Chloe smiles, at-last she will breathe fresh air and nagging will seize.

The kids stood up. Goes to Cassandra and hug her altogether.

“I love you so much Cassie, I love you all my champs. Thank you Cassie for hearing your champs out. We all love you Cassie”.

Cassandra tight her lips forcing out.

“I love you all also”.

“Mother, by next two years, I will surely be married”. Chloe speaks with her right hand on her chest like giving a vow.

“What! , no am only giving you a whole year more. After a year and no spouse yet. I will start to match make you again”.

“Chloe, is that a deal?. Do you agree to it”. Denise tease her daughter.

“Yes!”

Denzel and Damian answered together for their sister.

The family laugh it off.

It’s three weeks to Janet’s wedding. Chloe has gotten everything ready. From her dress, to her heels, her jewelry and all she will be needing.

On her way to work, she told her mom.

“Mom, am sorry it skipped my mind to tell you. Janet is getting married third day of next month”. She intentionally did not bring it up and decides to lie it skip her mind.

Before her mother could say anything. She urges her driver to drive out. After work, she stopped at Denzel’s place. To give him some files he needs to sign.

Being the Heir of the Cooper wine company, his signatures are highly recommended. He and Damian goes to work three days in a week. They are rest assured Chloe can handle the company well at their absence.

At ten o’clock at night, she bade good bye to her brother and his family. She gets into the car.

Bounty is a hustling and bustling city even at twelve midnight people would still be seen on the road walking around. Many still in rush hour traffic.

Shockingly, four kilometers to her Parents house, where she also stays. The car engine went off. It’s so unusual, the driver tried his best to make it come up all his effort went in vain.

Chloe sat at the back seat exhausted. She could not even try to walk it down to her house. She called her parents. Told them about the ongoing situation.

“I will call someone to tow the car to a workshop, while I send another car your way”. Denise spoke softly.
