Chloe informs the driver to close the bonnet.

“Dad is sending help soon”.

She starts to play games on her phone. The driver also returns back to sit in the car.

Time was running late, she looks up to see if the car her dad sent is close. Her eyes fell on a lady standing opposite the road.

“Are my eyes deceiving me could this be Pearl”. She said pointing her fingers at the lady’s direction.

“Miss, do I call the lady close?.”

“Yes, please”.

The driver came down from the car, he cross to the opposite side

“Excuse me miss. Are you miss Pearl”?.

Pearl looked at the driver from his head to toe before she answered in a flat tone.

“Yes, and how may I help you”?.

“My miss wants to see you”.. the driver points in direction of the car.

By then, Chloe was standing close to the car. Pearl recognize her once.

She walk with the driver to meet Chloe.

“It’s a small world can’t believe my eyes. Pearl, so nice seeing you here”. They hug each other.

“What brings you to Bounty?.”

The wedding ring on Pearl’s finger shines bright in the night light. The diamond stones crested on it was much visible to anyone except for the blind. Chloe eyes saw them but maintain her posture and does not want to ask so fast.

“Marriage my dear”. Pearl replied flashing her ring to Chloe.

“I just move in to Bounty last two months with my husband and long time friend Richard Robinson. RR”. Pearls says happily.

“Wait, you mean same RR, from school. That’s so good to hear. Congratulations Pearl”.

Chloe hugs her friend one more time.

“Janet Moore is also getting married third of next month. Will be traveling down to Spears once again. Perhaps, might stop at my alma mater”.

“That is a good news. Have not seen her for a while exchange me her contact and yours”.

Pearl calls Janet.

Ring ring ring

“Hello, bride to be, it’s Pearl Jones from school. I came across Chloe now. Got your number from her. Congratulations dear”.

“Thanks, Pearl. You stay in bounty now”?.

“Yes, I got married last two months . So we move here. Married to Richard Robinson same RR. So am now Mrs Pearl Robinson not Pearl jones anymore”.

“Wow, same RR. Means you both have been hiding things from myself and Chloe since school. That so good to hear. Would you be chance to come for my wedding. It’s third of next month. Will look forward to seeing you and RR “.

“It’s a friendship love then didn’t know it will make us a forever. Sure I will be at your wedding”.

“Will get your contact from Chloe”.

“Ok, thanks see you there bye”.

“Bye”.

They hung up.

The driver Denise sent has arrived.

“Miss, the car is here”.

“Oh, Pearl, I need to get going now. Will call you later to catch up”.

The car was towed away.

Chloe hops in the available car with her driver. They left to the house.

Pearl rings Chloe in the afternoon.

“Hello Chloe, how are you doing?”. “Do you mind grabbing the dinner with us in the house by six o clock. I will drop the address at the end of the call”.

“Okay, Pearl. Thanks. See you by six”. Regards to RR.

She got home by thirty minutes past three in the afternoon. Showers and change her dress. She heads to her friend’s apartment.

On her way to the apartment, she stopped at the mart to get chocolates for the couple.

She brought out her phone to call her friend outside the gate.

“Hello Pearl, am outside”.

“Okay, am coming to get you right away”.

They entered.

“Hello RR, so nice to see you. It’s been a long time”.

“Pearl, you got a beautiful home.I bought this chocolate on my way for you”.

RR is still as handsome has he was when they were in school. Pearl, RR, Janet and Chloe were very close friends in high school.

Chloe is a boarding student while, Janet , RR and Pearl are day students. Mr and Mrs Cooper travels a lot with no one to entrust with their children’s care. They made them all stay in the boarding facility.
