I froze in mu spot, feeling very awkward. I didnt mean fir them to catch me eaves dropping. I forced a smile and tried ti think of what to say to get out if there.
“Um…I'm sorry. But I was heading to my room. I didn't mean to hear any—”
A voice cut in. “Where you eavesdropping on us?” She accused.
My mouth went dry. Tgey looked so intimidating and so sophisticated that I didn't know ehst yo do. Staring at them bad a way of making me feel weord inside.
