As Prince Edvin led me into the mansion, I couldn't help but feel nervous. The interior of the mansion was just as impressive as the exterior, with high ceilings, intricate moldings, and lavish furnishings. But despite the opulence surrounding me, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being pulled into a world that I did not fit in.
Meanwhile, back at the Crimson Moon pack's territory, Drew was seething with rage. He may have rejected her, but why would Ariana choose to go with him, and now that she was gone, he felt like he had been punched in the gut.
"How could he do this?" Drew growled, pacing back and forth in front of his father, Alpha McCarthy.
Alpha McCarthy sighed, rubbing his temples. "Drew, you need to calm down. Prince Edvin has done nothing wrong. Ariana is his mate, and he has every right to take her to his pack."
You rejected her, so why are you throwing a fit?.
"But she's mine," Drew snarled, his eyes blazing with fury. "I've now realized that she's meant to be mine."
Alpha McCarthy's expression turned stern. "Drew, you can't just claim someone as your mate because you want them to be, you rejected her. The bond between mates is sacred, and it can't be forced."
Drew's face twisted in anger, he knew that his father was right. Everything was his fault she would've been in his arms, but now that she was gone, he realized that he had taken her for granted.
Over the next few days, Drew became increasingly withdrawn, barely speaking to anyone in the pack. His father and friends tried to reach out to him, but he pushed them away, unable to deal with the emotions that were swirling inside of him.
As the days goes by for him, Drew's anger and frustration only grew. He became obsessed with the idea of getting Ariana back, convinced that she was supposed to be with him and no one else.
But as he delved deeper into his own desires, Drew began to realize that his feelings for Ariana went far beyond mere possession.
As the tension inside of him continued to build, Drew knew that he had to do something. He couldn't just sit back and let Ariana slip away from him. But what could he do?
The answer came to him in the dead of night, as he lay awake, staring at the ceiling. He would go to the Darkclaw pack and demand that Prince Edvin return Ariana to him.
The thought sent a surge of adrenaline through his veins, and Drew had made up his mind. He would do whatever it took to get Ariana back, even if it meant starting a war between their packs.
As Drew lay in bed, his mind racing with thoughts of Ariana and Prince Edvin, what were they doing now, and the thought about both of them only angered him the more..
He threw off the covers and got out of bed, pacing back and forth across his room. He knew that he had to come up with a plan, and fast.
I just can't go over to his place and start a war that will be a blood mess.
As he paced, Drew's anger and frustration grew more. He couldn't believe that Prince Edvin had just taken Ariana away from him.
Drew's thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. It was his best friend and beta, Rachel's twin brother, Robert.
"Drew, what's going on?" Robert asked, looking concerned. "I've been trying to reach you all day."
Drew took a deep breath, trying to calm down. "It's Ariana," he said, his voice tight with emotion. "Prince Edvin has taken her to the Darkclaw pack."
Robert's eyes widened in surprise. "What? Why?"
Drew shook his head. "I don't know. But I'm going to get her back."
Robert's expression turned serious. "Drew, I don't think that's a good idea. You're to get mated with my sister
We can't just start a war with the Darkclaw pack."
Drew's anger flared up again. "I don't care about the war," he snarled. And I don't want to talk about your sister, "I just want Ariana back."
Robert sighed, looking worried. "Drew, please think about this. Is it really worth risking everything for?"
Drew's expression turned cold. "Yes," he said, his voice firm. "It's worth everything."
Rachel's eyes narrowed as she listened in on Drew's conversation with Robert. She had been walking by Drew's room, intending to talk to him about their upcoming mating ceremony, when she overheard their conversation.
Fury burned within her as she listened to Drew's determination to get Ariana back. How could he still be obsessed with that girl? Didn't he choose her and reject her?
Rachel's mind began to spin with devious thoughts as she turned away from Drew's room. She knew that she had to get Ariana out of the picture, and fast.
A sly smile spread across her face as she thought of the perfect plan. She would use the rogues, a group of lawless werewolves who lived on the outskirts of their territory, to kidnap Ariana.
Rachel made her way to her room, her heart raced with excitement. She couldn't wait to put her plan into action.
She quickly mind linked the leader of the rogue wolf as she holds a connection with him.
"Meet me at the old warehouse on the outskirts of town tonight," she typed. "I have a job for you."
Rachel smiled to herself as she sent the message. She knew that the rogues would do anything for the right price, and she was willing to pay to get Ariana out of the way.
With her plan set in motion, Rachel felt a sense of satisfactory wash over her. She would finally be rid of Ariana and claim her rightful place as Drew's mate and future Luna.
The next day, Rachel snuck out of the mansion, making sure to avoid detection by the guards or anyone else who might be watching. She had to be careful, as her plan was not something that she wanted anyone to know about.
She made her way to the old warehouse on the outskirts of town, her heart racing. She had never been involved in anything like this before, but she was too desperate to get her results.
As she arrived at the warehouse, she saw a man waiting for her inside the warehouse. It was Victor, the leader of the rogue wolves.
"What do you want, Rachel?" Victor growled, his eyes narrowing suspiciously.
Rachel took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. "I need your help," she said, her voice barely audible. "I need you to help me kidnap Ariana."
Victor's expression changed from suspicion to surprise. "Ariana? The girl who's been staying in your pack?"
Rachel nodded, her eyes locked on Victor's. "Yes, that's the one. I need her out of the way, and I'm willing to pay to make it happen."
Victor raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by Rachel's proposal. "What makes you think I'm interested in getting involved in your little scheme?" he asked, his voice with a hint of sarcasm.
Rachel smiled, trying to appear confident. "I know that you and your pack are always looking for ways to make a profit," she said. "And I'm willing to pay a lot of money to make this happen."
Victor snorted, clearly unimpressed by Rachel's offer. "Money isn't the only thing that motivates me, Rachel," he said. "What else do you have to offer?"
Rachel's heart sank, realizing that she had underestimated Victor. She knew that she had to think fast, or risk losing her chance to get rid of Ariana.
"I can offer you something else," she said, trying to sound convincing. "Something that's worth a lot more than money."
Victor raised an eyebrow, clearly curious. "What is it?" he asked.
Rachel took a deep breath, knowing that she was taking a risk. "I can offer you a chance to take revenge on Prince Edvin," she said. "A chance to hurt him where it hurts the most."
Victor's expression changed, his eyes showing signs of interest. "Go on," he said, his voice low and husky.
