When I returned to St. Catherine's Medical Center to pack up my things, Dr. Hayes asked when I was leaving.
"Tonight."
Dr. Hayes looked surprised and asked why I was leaving so soon.
"Is it because of Ethan?"
I shook my head.
In truth, it wasn't entirely because of him. Westbridge General Hospital was too far from the place where Ethan and I currently lived. The commute would be unbearable.
I had to find a suitable apartment in the city center, so I needed to plan ahead.
Besides, Julian had told me yesterday that his exchange at our hospital would end today and that he was returning to the city center.
He said he could give me a ride.
