Chapter 1 Lilith

Hi, I'm Lilith and let me tell you how part of my day went.

I went to school like I normally do, only the atmosphere was different today than any other day. Everyone was staring at me, like they found something shocking. So I just continued on to my friend's River, Parker, Ari, and Jamie and then they told me why everyone was staring at me.

“I didn’t know you didn’t have any parents.” River said, to which I looked at them in shock.

“River!! I thought we agreed not to tell her that everyone knows!” Ari said. I just stood there in shock and fear. Parker hugged me.

“It’s okay, we’re still your friends. Right guys?” Parker asked. To which everyone nodded in agreement.

“Thanks guys.” I said, hugging all of them. Just then, I see Sage running in crying.

“LILITH!!!” Sage says, crying and running towards me. I let go of my friends and went to them.

“Sage, what's wrong?” I asked, hugging Sage.

“Everyone knows…..” Sage says, hugging me with tears running down their cheeks.

“It’s okay, if people judge you, then that's their problem, not ours, okay? We’ve made it work this long, let's make it work longer.” I said, comforting them. Parker and Ari join the hug.

“O-okay.” Sage said with a stutter. Then they just hugged me closer.
