"Don't argue, we can't let them have our girls, Eliza and Peter. Run back with the girls. Roger and I will stop these brutes until the warriors arrive."
It was a survival skill training day for the newly shifted girls of the pack's high school. I had accompanied Eliza, along with beta Roger and another warrior wolf, to this wilderness, near the edge of the campus. The 10 juvenile girls were pretty excited about the training.
