THIRD PERSON POV Tom paced his study. The Whiskey was smooth, but it wasn't calming him any. He needed to know Ruby was okay. He checks his messages, disappointed Rhynes hasn't updated him on anything yet. Something didn't sit right with him. Something was off. His anxiety was rising. Looking out the window of his study, Tom looked across the river at Ruby's window. He wished for even just a glimpse of her to let him know she was okay. She didn't need to answer his calls or messages, but he needed that glimpse. Taking out his phone again, he made a call.
