I made it a point to always mention things that randomly changed Tom during his time away, but otherwise, I ignored them and just put them as far back in my mind as possible. The clinic was in full swing as we got further into fall. We didn't get much snow in this part of BC, but we sure did get a ton of rain. Lots of cuts and sprains with the slick rainy conditions for many locals this year. Something must be in the air, Dr. Bergs keeps saying, and I would have to agree, it wasn't this crazy last fall. Tom and I agreed that we were ready to be together again, and this time apart couldn't come to an end fast enough.
