I cautiously approached Tyler; his back was still to me even though I announced I was coming over to sit with him. I could hear him sniffle, it seemed like he was trying to cover up that he was crying. I wasn't a fan of my dad or Deek right now. Just a bunch of juvenile bullies. "Tyler?" I spoke softly. As I got to the bench, I put my hand on his shoulder gently. I felt his entire body tense as though he had never been comforted before. "What d-do you w-want?" his tone was guarded and cold.
