“You should try on the blue one. It’ll bring out your eyes.”
I’d never had the chance to attend an event like the Alpha Ball before Kade took me as his slave and my life changed completely. Therefore, it was no wonder that I didn’t know what to wear—or how to prepare for such an event.
Last night, Samson had asked Lana and her mother to take me out to pick out a dress, and to teach me some basic etiquette before the ball. I found myself standing in one of the pack’s clothing stores in the shopping district this morning with my arms full of dresses to try on.
Before I could react, Lana shoved the blue dress into my hands and wheeled me toward the fitting room with a grin on her face.
“We’ll be waiting!” she said in a sing-song voice before snapping the curtain shut.
