"I'm an orphan raised by my grandparents. I was born and raised here.
And I moved in with my friends after my grandparents also visited their ancestors.
I'm a graphic designer but I work from home.
My girls have become my family now. I think that is all " I continued.
"very short but very informative. I would love to know more about you"he said smiling.
"Come let me show you around"he said and stood up.
He grabbed my hands as we went round the house , from his kitchen to his bedroom, his living room, and he also took me to his garden.
"I can see you love flowers"I said with a blushy smile.
.."Yes, actually I do....very much"he smiled. "So please tell me more about you"I asked.
"But...I already told you about myself"he voiced.
"Yeah I know but I need to know more"I retorted.
"OK fine"he said.
"I guess I have no option"he continued. "I'm a professional medical doctor.
I was born and raised in Foster Carry and moved here due to work but I plan to stay here for a very long time and if possible build my family here" he emphasized.
"Why then did you lie to me about being a mechanic?"I grilled.
He laughed wiredly trying to a void my question but I managed to make him talk.
"Well it was just to test me"he answered .
"And are you sure this is not a text too"I declared.
"Does this look like a text " teasy Michael will retorted.
"What do you think" he asked calmly.
" I don't know but I just hope this is not some sort of a prank on me"I added.
He broke in to laughter and teased.
"I think we're done out here ,let's do the rest of the talking inside"mike said.
"OK fine "I responded. Then we walked into the house.
He gave me a kiss on the cheeks and stared warmly straight into my eyes.
"I really want us to take this friendship to the next level"he whispered into my ears.
I gazed at him with a smirk but I didn't say anything.
I run off and sat in the couch. He followed behind and beside me.
"Hazel ! Please look at me"he said staring into my eyes.
"I do not intend to do you any harm. I know how I feel about you and I intend to make it official.
Please give me the chance to show you how I feel about you"he continued.
I looked at him in my speechless mood deep in my thought.
Thinking about what he said I decided to give him a chance.
"I will give it a thought and get back to you"I uttered.
But that didn't drive away his stare.
He continued to gaze at me saying "I admire your beauty".
"Thank you, hope its not a compliment"I mentioned.
"Oh no....I mean it"Mike replied."OK , its getting late I think I should my leave now.
"Thanks for the treat. I had a very good time"I said on my way out.
A week later, Mike and I had made our relationship official.
But I wanted my friends to be the first to know.
Michael and I agreed to tell them today.
I was a bit nervous this morning not knowing how my friends would react to the news.
Later during the day, I had called out to them that Michael and I had something to tell them.
Few minutes later , I heard a noise from a car horn.
"I think Mike is here"I voiced peeping through the window.
"I'll get the door " Emelia said."Good evening....."Michael greeted.
"Good evening"we all responded. "Please have a seat.
Dinner is almost ready" I said and walked to the kitchen to check on the food.
Soon Eva and I served dinner and we all matched to the dinning table.
After the meal we chatted for a while.
"What is it that you both wanted to tell us" Emelia questioned.
"Errh....OK ....Mike and I wanted you to know that we're making our relationship official"I avowed.
Eva and Emelia stared at each other. Their reaction made evidently nervous.
Then they shouted in excitement" Girls we're so happy for you".
"Tell us when did this happen" Eva voiced.
"Yes, yes ,tell us" Emelia murmred.
"Well....it was just a week ago" I answered their question.
" Mike hope you're not playing with our friend's heart else you will regret it.
I guarantee that" Emelie pointed.
"My intention is clear" Mike giggled.
"Good!" Eva exclaimed.
"Enough with the warnings girls, please its already late he has to go else he'll be late to work "I whispered.
I walked Michael out to his car.
"Thank you for your treat"Mike said cheerfully.
" Its fine. I'm sorry for my girls behavior"I said rolling my eyes.
"Oh its ok. I find them funny"he replied.
"I would like you to come spend some time with me "Mike whispered in my ears.
I smirked and replied"ok I will but for now you have to go home its already late ".
"Ok fine but I will come pick you. Just text me the time and the day"he added.
"Oh my gosh, girls you scared me "I shouted.
Emelia and Eva had followed Michael and I to the front and they tried ease dropping on our conversation.
."What are you girls doing"I shouted again.
"Well ... I ... I .. I ...was ....." Eve stammered.
"Oh .... I ....I ...I...so you can't talk now? Just look at how your lie has made you look "I uttered smirking.
"Well since you girls obviously want to know what is going on, you may as well explain why you made me feel nervous with your reaction at the table"I said.
Eva and Emelia broke in to an uncontrollable laughter.
"Girl please, stop being funny"Emelia whispered.
"Look we're sorry if we made you feel that way, it wasn't intentional"She added.
"Wait ..... I think you should rather be the one to explain to us how you and Mike started this your relationship" Eva declared.
"Ok fine. I guess you win"I responded.
"Anyways ...... the good news is that, Mike invited me to spend some time with him in his house"I added.
"Girl don't tell me you said no" Emelia shouted.
" I didn't say no though I just didn't give him an answer " I replied.
